CAPS Members wrote letters to the CalHR Representatives at the CAPS Bargaining Table during this round of bargaining, detailing the effects that the long-standing pay inequities (either with Engineers, Supervisors, or simply unit-wide) have  had on the programs they manage, and themselves personally.  

The letters talk about the inequity’s impact on state program’s work, state agency’s ability to meet its mission, state department’s ability to get the scientists it needs, and many more problems that have been experienced as a result of these compensation issues.
